Australia's Top Cat Games on iOS in Q1 2024: Sensor Tower Insights

Sensor Tower's latest report dives into the performance of cat-centric mobile games in Australia's iOS market throughout the first quarter of 2024. Here's how the top five feline favorites fared.

Duet Cats : Cat Cute Games by Amanotes Pte. Ltd. from Vietnam saw a peak in downloads during mid-January with 3.2M, ending the quarter on a high note with 2.8M downloads. Weekly active users topped at nearly 30K in the last week of March, while revenue trends fluctuated, reaching a high of $229K in early January and closing the quarter with $134K.

My Talking Tom, published by Outfit7 Limited from Slovenia, experienced a steady download count, starting the quarter with 2.2M and ending with 1.5M. Active users hit a peak of over 26K in mid-January but saw a slight dip to around 22K by the end of March. Revenue trends showed variability with a peak at $180K in mid-January and concluding the quarter at $26K.

Another title from Outfit7 Limited, My Talking Tom 2, maintained a consistent active user base, starting at over 70K and rising to over 62K by the end of March. Downloads saw a decrease from 1.6M to 1.2M. Revenue trends saw a mid-quarter high at $280K in early February, ending the quarter with $109K.

The South Korean publisher hidea's Cats & Soup showed a strong revenue trend, starting the quarter with $1.6M and ending with $1.5M. Downloads began at 1.8M and saw a slight decrease to 1.1M, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 16K and ending at 16K.

Lastly, My Talking Angela 2, also from Outfit7 Limited, saw its highest revenue at the start of the quarter with $905K, ending with $290K. Downloads started at 1.4M and concluded the quarter with 1.2M, while active users showed a slight increase from 13K to 11K.
